Dr. Karen La Vetter

Dr. Karen La Vetter

I have lived in the Milwaukee area for most of my life and obtained my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin. I have practiced veterinary medicine for many years and enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine. My special interests are feline medicine and diseases of senior cats. I also have experience in equine medicine as my parents have Clydesdale horses that they have bred, raised and exhibited at shows. During my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, reading, gardening, baking, traveling and spending time with my husband and our dog and cats. I like having long-standing relationships with clients and look forward to meeting you and your pet at the Center for Animal Health!

Dr. Andrea Jumes

Dr. Andrea Jumes

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College and then went on to earn my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I am originally from Appleton and am excited to return to the great state of Wisconsin! Some of my special interests include preventative medicine, dermatology, and soft-tissue surgery. The special connection between humans and animals is what initially drew me to the veterinary field and being able to pay witness to the human-animal bond daily is what continues to drive me in this profession. Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis, skiing, knitting, and hiking with my dog Milo. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions at Center for Animal Health!
